Calm before the crazy!

Psalm 46.10

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Today was a special day.  Today was Easter. Time for us to celebrate our risen LORD! By His grace we were saved through His ultimate sacrifice! We didn’t and don’t deserve His mercy but we received it anyway.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!!!

I once was lost, but now I am found, was blind but now can see!

Thank you Lord for your amazing grace who saved ME!

We are T-7 days, 13 hours away from the big run.  T-5 days away from take off to Boston.  We are in a holding pattern for Baby Camdynn…any day now. And we are  T-13 days until the big wedding.  So, in the next 13 days we will become grandparents, in-laws and Boston Marathon finisher/spectators.  Wow!!!

Psalms 46.10 will be my life verse for the next two weeks…Be still and know that I AM GOD!!!

In honor of the crazy joyousness that is ahead of us, we took an Easter canoe trip.  We took time to spend quiet, quality time together before the craziness of life takes over the next two weeks.  After celebrating our Lord’s life, death and resurrection…we celebrated our life together.  We enjoyed the peacefulness of God’s creation…the quiet stream, the birds, the fish, the groundhogs, the flowers, the trees, the turtles…all within the serene surroundings close to our own home. We are so blessed!!

On our canoe trip…I prayed that the Lord would work HIS will out in everything….Baby Camdynn’s arrival, my running of the Boston Marathon and the union of our son and his bride to be.  His will, His perfect timing!!!

Joyous times are ahead…Keep Calm and trust the ALMIGHTY GOD!

1 Peter 5:7

Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.

John 14:27

I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Philippians 4:6-7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.

Running blessed and for HIM!

Trish 🙂
