Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
This has been and continues to be my life verse. It has played a huge role in much of my life. Faith is what I live by. Some see it as chaotic…I have even been called Queen of Chaos. But to the outsider, faith sometimes looks chaotic. Faith is the only way…bring on chaos! :o)
Leaps of faith may seem risky. He may choose to only reveal pieces of the puzzles bit by bit. Step by step. But with prayer and living by God’s Word…the Lord directs you. He keeps us on His path as long as we stay connected. His timing is always perfect.
I say all of this because my journey to Boston through Tupelo is 4 days, 7 hours and 17 minutes away…but who is counting? I am! I am counting with hope and faith that all of my hard work and training will pay off. That I will run that magic 3:50:59 this time. I am certain it will happen! I hope for it and have faith it will come in His time.
My hope is that His time is this Sunday. My hope is that this piece of the Boston puzzle will be completed. With this being said,
Proverbs 16.9
In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
The Lord is with me! The Lord is my guide! The leap of faith to tackle this journey has been the chaos I needed to rejuvenate my spiritual walk. I have already won the race 4 days, 7 hours and 17 minutes before the start of the race.
Thank you Lord for this incredible opportunity to take running to a spiritual level and bring others along!
