First, I am a Christian saved by grace who loves to run! Secondly, I am a wife and a mom who loves my family. The Lord has blessed me with an incredible immediate family and extended family. They support my running all the way! I run for God! The Lord has given me the talent and desire to run. The next step is qualifying for Boston…this is my journey! Hebrews 12:1 – update…I did it on September 4, 2011~now to actually run Boston.  This the next piece of the puzzle…it has yet to be placed.

More…I started running about 12 years ago. I ran just to run. I never in my wildest dreams thought I could place in races…let alone win my age group. But, God has shown me how hard work and determination can pay off. Just this last year my focus turned from to just running to training but also to training with the Lord as my number one coach. Boy, how things have changed since then!!!

Running history – I have run numerous 5ks, 10ks and 8ks. I have 7 marathons under my belt. 2 in Huntington Beach, CA; 1 in San Diego, CA; 1 in Bermuda; 1 in London, England; 1 in Prague, Czech Republic…and finality the Boston qualifier in Tupelo, Mississippi!

God has given me the opportunity to see the world and run it…literally. God blessed me with Arkansas as my home state. Woo Pig Sooie…Go Razorbacks! Then I had the privilege of living in Texas, California, the United Kingdom, Georgia and finally my new home state of Tennessee. (still Go Hogs Go!)

He is leading me on a new and wonderful journey. I hope you come along and enjoy the ride with me!
